Bro. Francis was saved at the age of ten in Massachusetts. He was called to preach at the age of 17 during Youth Conference at FBC. Bro. Francis graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 1989. He was hired on at First Baptist Church in 1990. Bro. Francis oversees many ministries, including the “B”, “C”, and “D” buses and Sunday schools; City Baptist School; the Better Roads Recovery Ministry; the Hammond City Rescue Mission; and the Hometown Thrift Store. He also teaches at Hyles-Anderson College. Bro. Francis married Cynthia in 1988. They have three children: Brittany, John III, and Clint.

The conference had so many special times with so many special people. We are thankful for the music, the new coffee shop, the hostesses that worked tirelessly the entire conference. Mrs. Wilkerson challenged us with her thoughts on F.I.R.S.T and then to make and keep our promise to "Do Right, Every Day, On Purpose."
