Romans 15:23-33
²³ But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
²⁴ Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.
²⁵ But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
²⁶ For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
²⁷ It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
²⁸ When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.
²⁹ And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
³⁰ Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
³¹ That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints.
³² That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
³³ Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Romans 16
¹ I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:
² That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.
³ Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:
⁴ Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
⁵ Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.
⁶ Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us.
⁷ Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.
⁸ Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord.
⁹ Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.
¹⁰ Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household.
¹¹ Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord.
¹² Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord.
¹³ Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
¹⁴ Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them.
¹⁵ Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them.
¹⁶ Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
¹⁷ Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
¹⁸ For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
¹⁹ For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
²¹ Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you.
²² I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord.
²³ Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother.
²⁴ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
²⁵ Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
²⁶ But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
²⁷ To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. <>

Exodus 1
¹ Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.
² Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,
³ Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,
⁴ Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
⁵ And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.
⁶ And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
⁷ And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
⁸ Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.
⁹ And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:
¹⁰ Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
¹¹ Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
¹² But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
¹³ And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
¹⁴ And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.
¹⁵ And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:
¹⁶ And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
¹⁷ But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
¹⁸ And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?
¹⁹ And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.
²⁰ Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
²¹ And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
²² And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

Exodus 2:1-10
¹ And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.
² And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.
³ And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.
⁴ And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.
⁵ And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
⁶ And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.
⁷ Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?
⁸ And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.
⁹ And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it.
¹⁰ And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

Psalms 49
To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.
¹ Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world.
² Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
³ My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
⁴ I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
⁵ Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
⁶ They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
⁷ None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
⁸ (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
⁹ That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.
¹⁰ For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
¹¹ Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
¹² Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
¹³ This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
¹⁴ Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
¹⁵ But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
¹⁶ Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
¹⁷ For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
¹⁸ Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
¹⁹ He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
²⁰ Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
