Mark 10:51, 52, "And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way."

John Bishop
Hammond, Indiana— John Bishop was pastor of an independent Baptist church in Arkansas when he was diagnosed in 1995 with a serious health condition called “aseptic meningitis,” which caused him to lose all of his memory. He has had to learn how to walk, talk, read, and write all over again.

He still has many physical limitations, yet the Lord has allowed him to travel all over the world just to be able to tell people how good God is, especially when you’re hurting. He and his wife have formed God Is So Good Ministries, which has been touching the hearts and lives of hurting people all over the world.

The public is invited to hear this inspirational story. Every guest (aged 18 and older) will receive a free copy of John Bishop’s book, God Is So Good Especially When You’re Hurting! The services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2007, in the Main Auditorium of First Baptist Church, which is located at 473 Sibley Street in Hammond, Indiana. For more information, call 219.932.0711.
