New Store Opening
The City Outreach Foundation is pleased to announce the MEGA Thrift Store Grand Opening! On Thursday, February 1,
2007, at 11:00 a.m., there will be a ribbon-cutting grand opening ceremony. Scheduled to attend are Tom Brown,
Merrillville Town Manager; Lance Huish, Operations Commander of the Merrillville Police Department; Pastor Jack Schaap
of First Baptist Church of Hammond; George Ranft, director of the Reformers Unanimous Home; and Dave Douglass,
principal of City Baptist Schools.This unique, one-of-a-kind MEGA thrift store has 75,000 square feet of bargains
making it the largest thrift store in the area. It is located at 6490 Broadway in Merrillville.
All proceeds are used to fund programs that help abused, addicted, and at-risk inner-city children, teenagers, and
adults.
The week-long celebration begins Thursday, February 1, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. For more information, you may call the
