Family Fun Fair

Hammond, Indiana-Hammond Initiative will be holding a family fun fair on Saturday November 12, 2011. There will be several different events going on for the entire family. For the children there will be well-supervised games and prizes; for the teens there will be a lightning basketball-shooting tournament (boys and girls brackets); and for the adults there will be a computer-security seminar that will specialize in Internet protection for your children, finances, privacy, and more. There will also be a $5,000 half-court-shot contest.
The Hammond Initiative will be introducing some of its volunteer services, including financial, relationship, marital, and single-parent counseling, along with teen programs, addiction services, and more.
This event will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will include free pizza for the entire family. The event will be held at City Baptist Schools, 4925 Sohl Avenue, Hammond, Indiana. If you have any questions, please contact Tony Merced at (219) 228-2730.
