Memory Lane Park Memorial Services

Schererville, Indiana-This Memorial Day the Memory Lane Memorial Park is holding a special Memorial Day Service. The theme this year will be "Service to God and Country." During the service we will be honoring the following men: Clyde Crutchfield, U.S. Coast Guard; Col. Richard MacCormack, U.S. Air Force; William Hasse, U.S. Navy; Dr. Johnny Colsten, U.S. Army; and Dr. Mike Sisson, U.S. Marines.
The entire community is invited to attend the service with Dr. Jack Schaap and First Baptist Church at the Memory Lane Memorial Park, located at 6305 W. Lincoln Highway in Schererville, Indiana. Also participating will be the Hammond Baptist Junior High and High School Orchestra, performing patriotic specials.
Military hero, Doug Kollar, who service Afghanistan, will be conducting 15-minute seminars in the chapel after the service. He will have several artifacts from different wars and will be speaking on the significance of Memorial Day.
We will have special reserved seating for all veterans. We are asking that all veterans wear their uniforms for this special occasion if possible.
