First Annual Power Club Kids' Conference and Festival

On Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10, the First Baptist Church of Hammond will be hosting the first annual Power Club Kids' Conference and Festival. This two-day event will be held on the church property and will feature a variety of challenges and activities for children aged four through grade five. All children in this age group are welcome to attend.
This Saturday, August 9, children's departments will begin lining up in front of the church on Sibley Street at 9:30 a.m. The day's activities will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will begin with a Power Club Kids' Rally Time with Pastor Jack Schaap. Other activities for the day will include singing, comedy skits, games, and exciting Bible lessons geared to each age group. The children's carnival will include an inflatable obstacle course, a 26-foot inflatable slide, a rock-climbing wall, a dunk tank, and a variety of other attractions. There will be adult supervision at every activity. All children in attendance will receive a free Power Club T-shirt.
On Sunday, August 10, parents are invited to join their children for the second day of the Power Club Kids' Conference and Festival. Children's Sunday school will meet at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Power Club Rally at 10:30 a.m. in the Main Auditorium. The rally will include a children's service, a giant kids' choir, and the conclusion of Saturday's comedy skit. Each child in the Sunday service will receive a free New Testament.
