The good news is that First Baptist Church would like to thank everyone who helped out in the "adopt a sailor" dinner on Christmas Day. A total of 486 sailors came. They ate 900 pounds of turkey, 700 pounds of ham, 600 pounds of mashed potatos, and several tablesfull of pies, cakes and goodies.
