Congratulations to those who recently completed Level 1, 2, or 3 of the Foundations of My Faith Discipleship Program! This Sunday each person will be recognized and will receive a Certificate of Completion after either service from Pastor Wilkerson. They will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with Pastor as they receive their certificate. The next cycle, beginning with Lesson 1 of Level 1, will start next Sunday, March 5.
The TNT class, “Soul Winning,” taught by Bro. Mark Duff will be held this Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. in Room 132 of the Administrative Office Building. This class is also offered on Wednesday evening during the mid-week service and will be held in the East Overflow Room. Whether you have never won a soul to Christ, or just want to gain more confidence as a soul winner, you are encouraged to attend this class. This class is also being offered as a two-hour class on Saturday, March 4, and Saturday, March 18. These two classes will be held in Room 132 of the Administrative Office Building from 10:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. each Saturday.
Our Spanish Department will be hosting their first annual Spanish Servants’ Conference this Wednesday through Friday, March 1-3. The conference will be held in the Jack Hyles Memorial Auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m. this Wednesday evening. There will be sessions on Thursday and Friday morning and evening as well. The guest preachers will be Pastor Marc Johnston, Pastor Luis Ramos, Pastor Tommy Ashcraft, Pastor Elmer Fernandez, Pastor Ezequiel Salazar, Pastor Mike Valdez, Pastor Luis Parada, and Pastor Luis Martinez.
Our 2017 FBC Ladies’ Conference, “Spring Cleaning Your Spirit,” will be Friday and Saturday, April 21 & 22. The conference will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday and will end at noon on Saturday. Register online by Tuesday, March 28, to be eligible to go to an away speaking engagement with Mrs. Wilkerson. Information and registration envelopes are in the pew bookracks. Registration is $25 for adults and teens, and $15 for junior girls thru Tuesday, March 28. There will be a nursery and playroom for children ages birth through five.
The Spring clothing drive for the City Outreach Foundation will be Sunday, March 4. Every church family is encouraged to bring a bag of clothing, jackets, shoes, purses, belts, and hats. There will be donation stations in each of our main parking lots, including the parking garage. Donations will be accepted before and after both the morning and evening services. If you have large furniture items you would like to donate but need them picked up at your home, please contact the Hometown Thrift Store at 219.942.1112.
FBMI will be preparing special gifts bags for our featured missionaries who will be attending our Missions Conference Sunday through Wednesday, March 19-22. The church family is encouraged to donate items such as gift cards, gas cards, stamps, thank you cards, rolls of quarters, non-perishable snack items (trail mix, small chips, nuts, etc.) or cash to purchase such items is welcome. You may bring these items to the Grand Lobby counter after any public service through Sunday, March 12.
All FBC teens in grades 9 through 12 are invited to a junior high bowling activity this Friday, February 24, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. The cost is $12 per person which includes two games, shoe rental, and supper. Buses will leave Hammond Baptist Schools at 6:30 p.m. and will return at 8:30 p.m.

Adult choir and orchestra meet every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The Adult Choir meets in the Main Auditorium, Ray Boardway Rehearsal Room. The orchestra meets in the orchestra practice room.
The Transformers Kids’ Clubs will continue its winter session this Wednesday for children in the Beginner 1 through Junior High 8 Sunday school departments. Clubs will meet during the midweek service in these locations:
